As an experienced site service engineer, Martin Brough realized that there was a lack of quality service support for cones, jaw crushers and screens within the quarry industry. So in 1996 CMB International Ltd was established to meet this requirement and commenced to provide effective on-site plant maintenance, repairs and larger refurbishment projects, to help customers get the best production from their plant.

Having recognised weaknesses in plant prompted CMB to design, develop and manufacture the Rockstar and Rockmonster range of equipment including cone crushers, jaw crushers, screens and feeders, offering substantially improved robustness and build quality.
Rockmonster 1100 x 800 Jaw Crusher
The CMB Rockmonster range of jaw crushers are modern cast-steel all-roller bearing machines. Designed to cope with some of the worlds toughest aggregates, this is a machine developed specifically for heavy duty, continuous Quarry work.
The crusher features a stepless mechanical/hydraulic adjustment, enabling the operator to quickly change settings. There are no shims to change or bolts to re-tighten during the adjustment procedure.
The massive front wall and cross-beam are specially heat treated castings that are bolted and pinned into position. Welding has been kept to a minimum in the design. This method of construction avoids stress concentration often found in welded components.
RS150 Rockstar Cone Crusher
A modern cast steel all roller bearing cone crusher features hydraulic adjustment which enables the operator to rapidly change the discharge setting, if necessary during the crushing operation. The machines hydraulics also incorporate tramp metal release, automatic re-set and an unblocking feature which will clear the crushing chamber in a matter of minutes.
The re-metalling procedure is carried out with the crushing head in situ. The short shaft configuration, which requires no top bearing, enables all major components to be removed from above, demanding minimal head room for installation and maintenance. The proven all roller bearing design provides for lower power consumption, long life, easy spares availability and uses a compact lubrication system.
Screens and Feeders
CMB offer a comprehensive range of vibrating screens and feeders specifically designed for the aggregates market.
Our plant can accommodate whatever screening media is specified by the customer (wire, cloth, polyurethane, rubber, punch plate etc.)
We work with our customers and will design a screen or feeder to fit their specific application whether new or existing. As with the cones and jaw crushers the screens and feeders are of a robust construction with welded joints kept to a minimum, using a bolted construction.
CMB bespoke engineering capabilities offer customers screens that will be constructed to fit their new or existing application, a comprehensive range of inclined, horizontal or low-angle screens are available, all with heavy duty, stress relieved decks - one, two, three or four deck screens are available.
CMB vibrating feeders combine scalping and feeding in a single operation. Providing a regulated flow of material to primary crushers, CMB feeders can be custom-built to suit customers' installation requirements.
